Joint Quebec-Germany Quantum Technology Event

 

The objective of the event is the exchange and networking at the (multi-) regional level at the interface of quantum technologies and optics and photonics in order to promote mutual understanding, establish contacts and, if possible, prepare joint scientific and commercial projects.

The event will take place on February 16, 2022 at 3pm (Munich time) or 9am (Montreal time) for 2 hours.

Colloquium lasers: applications and perspectives during the 89th ACFAS conference

 

The Centre d'optique, photonique et laser, in collaboration with Acfas, is looking for speakers to finalize its prestigious program for the Colloque les lasers : applications et perspectives. It will take place on May 9 and 10, 2022.

Deadline to submit your proposal: February 16, 2022, for more information.

Last December, Investissement Québec announced the implementation of the Marketing and Export Support Program (PSCE), with an envelope of $200 million over five years, to help accelerate the marketing and export capacity of small, medium and large businesses.

On February 2, Investissement Québec's experts will be back to present the various parameters of the program and answer your questions.

Webinar on the innovation/R&D component of the ITB policy

 

A webinar on the innovation/research and development component of the RIT Policy is organized by the Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) team of Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED).

During this event, you will have the opportunity to attend a presentation by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISDEC) on the research and development component of the RIT Policy. This presentation will be followed by a roundtable discussion with companies and research centers that have already benefited from the RIT Policy. You will then have the opportunity to interact directly with each speaker to ask questions on the topic.

This virtual event will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 9:30am to 12:00pm.

New partnership between Innovation M2 and EHVA

 

EHVA has announced a collaborative agreement with Innovation M2 that will focus on the development of EHVA's products and will allow Innovation M2 to continue its important involvement in opto-mechanical design.

Nüvü Cameras to work with NASA

 

Nüvü Cameras will participate with its imaging technology in NASA's next major mission. This will be the Nancy Grace Roman Telescope mission, where the Nüvü Cameras camera will be used to detect planets around a star. The launch is scheduled for 2027.
