DIOCESAN PATRONAL FEAST, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2022

On the occasion of the diocesan patronal feast day on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Bishop Paul-André Durocher invites the diocesan faithful to a Eucharistic celebration at 7:00 p.m. in the church of Saint-François-de-Sales, 799 Rue Jacques-Cartier, Gatineau.
This celebration of the patronal feast, which is the first after the two years of the pandemic, is in keeping with the collective desire, expressed during the synodal process, to give ourselves favourable opportunities to celebrate and walk together in the following of Christ, as a diocesan Church.
All are warmly invited.

NATIONAL CATHOLIC HEALTH CARE WEEK

For your information, the Catholic Health Alliance of Canada (CHAC), one of our partners with whom we have collaborated on the Horizons of Hope project, will be celebrating the fourth annual National Catholic Health Care Week in Canada from October 2 to 8. This year's theme, "Building Bridges," emphasizes a commitment to reach out, connect, care for all, fill gaps in the system and work together to improve the health and well-being of all people.

To mark the occasion, CHAC has prepared a kit of digital materials that may be of interest to local parishes.

GIVE US SOME NEWS!

In the wake of the synodal process experienced together, we have been challenged to conversions (changes of direction) to be ever more able to continue the mission entrusted by the Lord.
We invite you to send us your success that you are proud of and share it for the benefit of other parishes throughout the diocese. This could greatly enhance the sense of belonging to the great community of communities that is our archdiocese, especially as new parishes have been added since the beginning of the summer of 2022. Having news of your area, your parish, what you are proud of could fuel our reasons for thanksgiving and for feeling that the Church here is more alive than we might think. We could learn some from you in our desire to walk together
.
