NOVATIO FOUNDATION supports food security

On June 27th, at the annual general meeting of the Centre de sécurité alimentaire de Gatineau (CSAG), the Novatio Foundation officially presented its contribution to support the CSAG's mission to promote food security. As highlighted in the organization's annual report, the cost of living is increasing and therefore so are the needs in the community. The support and financial assistance of various partners are essential to ensuring the organization's mission and meeting the needs of individuals and their families. Alongside the Novatio Foundation, the CSAG can count on the collaboration of the Ste-Trinité parish for the collection of food and donations.
Last February, for the Novatio Foundation's first year of operation, the Board of Directors announced the funding of $71,270 for various projects. In 2023, the Foundation will be supporting 11 projects in parishes and community organizations throughout the Archdiocese of Gatineau.

CALL FOR PROJECTS 2023-2024

In the fall of 2023, the Novatio Foundation will launch its second call for projects. The submitted projects will be supported in early 2024. If your parish, movement, or community organization in the Archdiocese of Gatineau is dreaming of a new project - If you want to reach out to families, young people, seniors, aboriginal communities or the underprivileged or marginalized - Novatio invites you to start dreaming and thinking about your project. The project presentation form will be available in September, and the deadline for submitting your form to the Novatio Foundation will be October 31, 2023.
