Seidah's Lab: The PCSK9 Protein Holds a Dual Key to Countering COVID-19 Infection

Dr. Nabil G. Seidah's team unveils a mechanism of the COVID-19 infection that could help improve the medical management of the disease: a direct relationship between the PCSK9 protein, cholesterol and the SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Science POP: Make Way for the IRCM's Internal Competition

In addition to organizing the provincial Science POP competition, the IRCM is also among the 15 participating institutions. The IRCM internal competition will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Open to all.

Advancing Type 2 Diabetes Research

Take part in an ongoing study to reduce the risk of diabetes using omega-3 in fish oil. Participants will receive financial compensation for their time and expenses related to this study.

Help Raise Awareness of the Better Registry!

The BETTER Registry is open to all people living with type 1 diabetes in Canada and aims to measure the frequency and severity of hypoglycemic episodes as well as other aspects of living with type 1 diabetes.
