A MESSAGE FROM BISHOP DUROCHER REGARDING HIS HEALTH

I've heard that rumours are circulating concerning my health. Let me set the record straight.

Most people now know that I suffer from celiac disease, which has a major impact on my diet. It's well controlled and I've learned to live with it.

Recently, some constant fatigue prompted my doctor to undertake various tests. As a result, a minor problem was identified that can be well controlled with medication and self-discipline.

The bottom line is that I have to learn to live like a man approaching 70 and not like a 40-year-old. Those of you who are my age will understand perfectly well.

Allow me then to assure everyone that I'm doing well and that I look forward to the coming years at your service with enthusiasm and serenity. Thank you for continuing to support me with your prayers.

+ Paul-Andre Durocher

THE 2022 FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN FOR OUR PARISHES

This year again, the 2023 fundraising campaign for our parishes ("la dîme") is currently taking place in all 57 parishes of our diocesan Church.

With the partnership of Jardins du Souvenir, the Archdiocese continues to work with parishes by providing promotional tools and advertising. With a new theme of For My Parish...With All My Heart, Building the Future, the campaign runs through the spring with a reminder in the fall. In the coming weeks, a video message from Bishop Paul-André Durocher will also be posted on the archdiocesan online platforms (website, Facebook). To make a donation to any of the parishes, it is possible to do so via the online donation platform on the Archdiocese of Gatineau website. Your donation allows your parish to continue its mission.

Thank you for your donation!
