The IRCM's Sidney-Altman RNA Therapeutic Hub is Born

To kick off the holiday season, the IRCM is spreading hope and good news. Announced at its Foundation's Annual Gala, this major project carried out in collaboration with the Université de Montréal and major stakeholders will enable the development of promosing therapies.

Tribute to Sidney Altman

The IRCM and its Foundation highlighted the scientific legacy of Dr. Sidney Altman, the 1989 chemistry Nobel Prize recipient for the discovery of the catalytic properties of RNA and a great Montrealer anchored in the scientific culture of the Institute. See video to learn more.

Hope For a Cure for Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

A concrete embodiment of the vitality of the IRCM Sidney-Altman RNA Therapeutic Hub, this work based on RNA inhibitors approach gives hope for a future cure.

$815,000 were raised at the 2023 edition of the IRCM Foundation's Annual Gala which took place on November 28.
