Science POP Grand Final: When Science Rejoices and Finds its Audience

At the end of a wonderful first provincial edition, the final of the Science POP competition, held at IRCM, crowned the winners among candidates from 15 participating research institutions. It was clear to all that each candidate, and above all science itself, came out on top in these entertaining and informative exchanges. Well done to all!

An extremely prosperous month for the presence of our expertise in the media, in connection with several recent advances.

Dr. Côté won the Grand Prize for Science from the Breast Cancer Foundation, which interested the Canadian Press. [In French]

Transat Visit

A Valuable Philanthropic Partner Visits Us

Since the establishment of the Transat Chair in Breast Cancer Research, much was accomplished by the team of Dr. Jean-François Côté. This visit made it possible to better understand the latest promising advances and to share a privileged moment with the research teams.


Advancing Type 2 Diabetes Research

Take part in an ongoing study to reduce the risk of diabetes using omega-3 in fish oil. Participants will receive financial compensation for their time and expenses related to this study.

Help Raise Awareness of the Better Registry

The BETTER Registry is open to all people living with type 1 diabetes in Canada and aims to measure the frequency and severity of hypoglycemic episodes as well as other aspects of living with type 1 diabetes.
