ARCHBISHOP'S BRUNCH: A GREAT SUCCESS IN PAPINEAUVILLE

For the second consecutive year, the Novatio Foundation is proud to collaborate with the diocese to offer the Archbishop's brunches. The first of these took place in the Eastern pastoral area (La Petite-Nation) at the community hall in Papineauville on October 6th. Thanks to the participation of many individuals and the collective efforts of the organizers and volunteers, this brunch raised $6,870, which were redistributed to two parishes and four organizations in the Petite-Nation area. The recipients include the parishes of Saint-Sixte and Sainte-Angélique, as well as the following organizations: Petite-Nation Food Alliance, Papineau Regional Seniors Committee, Résidence Le Monarque, and Prévention César Petite-Nation. Furthermore, the volunteer team from the host parish, led by Mrs. Yvette Sanscartier, president of the Sainte-Angélique parish council, received assistance from about a dozen youth from Prévention César to help with brunch service.
Three more brunches will be held in other pastoral zones of the diocese: November 9th (Gracefield), December 7th (St. Joseph Cathedral), and January 26th (Ste-Trinité Church). Details on how to participate in these brunches can be found on the archdiocese's website.
The brunches are also an opportunity to distribute the brochure for the Foundation's annual fundraising campaign, themed "For the Future of Our Communities." Ways to Give.
